Those who are over the age of 21 have experience with drinking, and they can use personal annecdotal information to support their standpoints. They are most likely going to support lowering the drinking age because they too were once underage, and believed that underage drinking is not harmful, or disadvantageous. They may know that most of the time that people under the age of 21 binge drink because they have to drink fast in certain situations to not be caught by authorities. But if the drinking age was lowered to a more reasonable level, then htey would have to be so worried about getting caught, and could slow down on their consumption.
